BeeIntel

Content Revenue Intelligence

Know which article paid the rent.

Your CMS knows what you published. Your ad stack knows what you earned. Nothing joins the two, so editorial decisions get made on traffic — which is not the same thing as money. BeeIntel puts a rupee figure next to every article, author and topic.

The problem

What this is costing you right now

01

Thirty articles a month and no idea which ones earned

The desk publishes, the number arrives at month end, and nobody can connect the two.

02

The traffic winner that earns almost nothing

A piece does 184,000 pageviews on a low-CPM topic from a low-CPM geo and gets celebrated in the group chat.

03

Evergreen money quietly dying

An article that has paid for itself twice over slips down the rankings, or its affiliate links go dead, and the revenue drains away over months.

How it works

What BeeIntel actually does

No black box. Here is the whole mechanism, step by step.

BeeIntel — how it works

  1. 1

    The ledger meets the CMS

BeeScope already knows what every page earned. BeeIntel joins that to your content metadata — author, topic, publish date, language, length — through a WordPress plugin, or a sitemap and RSS fallback for everything else.

  2. 2

Revenue lands next to the byline

Revenue and RPM per article, per author, per topic, per language. A cohort view compares this month's output against last month's at the same age, because a piece published yesterday has not finished earning.

  3. 3

Insight cards that show their working

"Auto reviews earn 3.2× the site average — 14 pieces, 90 days." Every card shows the arithmetic behind it. A recommendation you cannot check is just a vendor telling you what to do.

  4. 4

Each insight links to the fix

A high-traffic low-RPM topic links straight into adding BeePlay video. An article with dead affiliate links links into BeeLink. The point is the action, not the chart.

  5. 5

A weekly digest the editor actually reads

Five insights maximum, in plain Hinglish, to WhatsApp or email. A report nobody opens is a report that does not exist, and twenty findings a week is how you get there.

Everything here is a lens on the BeeScope ledger. BeeIntel adds no new tracking to your pages.
  • ₹ per article author, topic, language
  • Cohort comparison like-for-like by age
  • Cards show their maths no unexplained advice
  • Evergreen decay alerts before the money goes

The article itself is the unit — its author, topic, language and what it actually earned, all on one row.

No new tag on your pages. BeeIntel reads the ledger BeeScope already keeps and joins it to what your CMS already knows.

Specifications

Full technical specification

Publishers compare specifications, not adjectives. Everything is here, including what depends on partners we do not control.

The join layer

The join layer
CMS ingestion WordPress plugin first, because that is what most Indian publishers actually run. Sitemap and RSS ingestion as a fallback for everything else, with other CMS integrations on the roadmap rather than promised.
Tagging Author, topic, language and format tagged automatically from your CMS, with manual override. Topic taxonomy is yours to edit — an auto-tagger that decides your sections for you is a tagger you will fight with weekly.
Attribution UTM-clean page attribution joined to the BeeScope ledger, so a single article reached through five different sources still totals correctly.

Reports

Reports
Reports Revenue and RPM by article, author, topic and language, with a "money pages" watchlist for the pieces that carry a disproportionate share.
Cohort view This month's articles against last month's at the same age. Comparing a three-day-old post to a two-year-old one is the commonest way content analytics produces a confident wrong answer.

Insights & digest

Insights & digest
Insight cards Rule-based in v1 — no ML claims, because with one publisher's content history a model is an expensive way to overfit. Every card shows the arithmetic behind it and links into the module that would act on it.
Decay alerts Watches earning articles for ranking slips and dead affiliate links, and flags them while the revenue is still recoverable rather than after it has gone.
Weekly digest Top 5 insights, plain language, WhatsApp or email. Capped deliberately — a digest with twenty findings gets skimmed once and then filtered.

Some capabilities depend on third-party approvals and platform policies that are not ours to promise. Where that is the case, the spec above says so explicitly.

What the industry reports

Every number below is an industry benchmark published by a third party. BeeOS has not shipped, so none of these are results we have produced.

5 insights range per week, arithmetic shown

A capped weekly digest, in plain language, that an editor will actually read

The cap is the feature. Twenty findings a week is how a useful report becomes an ignored one.

Expected difference

Publish by ledger, not by instinct

No percentage here on purpose. The value is in decisions changed, and any figure we attached to that would be made up.

Every card

Shows the arithmetic behind its recommendation

Advice you cannot check is a vendor telling you what to do.

Rule-based

Insights in v1 — no machine-learning claims

One publisher's content history is not enough data to model.

5 / week

Insight cap in the digest

Deliberate. Twenty findings a week is a digest nobody opens.

Being straight with you: There is no uplift percentage on this page and we are not going to invent one. BeeIntel changes what you decide to publish, and the value of that depends entirely on whether you act on it. What we can say concretely: newsrooms that can see revenue per article stop optimising for traffic that does not pay, and that compounds quietly over quarters rather than showing up as a number next month.

Works with

Fits into the stack you already run

Platforms BeeOS integrates with — not customers, partners or endorsements.

  • Google AdSense
  • Google Ad Manager
  • AdX (via partner)
  • Prebid.js
  • Amazon APS
  • PubMatic
  • Magnite
  • Index Exchange
  • Sharethrough
  • Sovrn

Glyphs are generic shapes, not brand logos — these are platforms we integrate with, not endorsers.

Questions

BeeIntel — frequently asked

That is the failure mode, and it is worth naming. What the numbers show is what your audience pays for — which is how you fund the desk, not a performance review. A reporter covering a beat nobody monetises is not underperforming; they are doing work the ad market prices badly, and the honest response is to fund it differently (Module 3 exists partly for that), not to stop doing it.

The plugin is v1 priority because that is what most Indian publishers run. Everyone else gets sitemap and RSS ingestion, which covers author, topic, date and language for most setups. Other CMS integrations are roadmap rather than promised — we are not going to list six platforms we have not built for.

Yes. BeeIntel is a lens on the BeeScope ledger — without the ledger there is no revenue to attribute. They are separate products because plenty of publishers want the ledger without the content layer, but not the other way round.

Because one publisher's content history is a few thousand articles, and that is not enough to train a model that will not confidently overfit. Rule-based cards can show their arithmetic, which means you can disagree with them. We would rather ship advice you can check than advice you have to trust.

It will tell you what earns. What you do with that is an editorial decision and it should stay one — plenty of the most important work a publisher does is the work that pays worst. Knowing which is which is the point; the software does not get a vote.
